So instead of saving my duckets, I went ahead and purchased this lovely dress…

I love everything about this dress, the ruffles, the grosgrain ribbon belt. I’m one those people who always uses the belt that came with the dress… I know, I know, I should learn to live a little… it’s a little hard for this plain Jane… baby steps.

I just had to try it on… with my pink shoes no less (nevermind the black stockings)

Back in September I could barely fit into this dress, but since the surgery I’ve lost 10lbs!  Now this dress fits kinda big on me.  No I didn’t buy a dress for myself, it’s BM’s Deneeka’s dress (my niece).

Remember when I posted about having boots for the inclement weather?  Well, these boots have been on my mind for the longest time and I’ve looked every where for them.  One place had them in the oatmeal in size 12’s only!

Bridal Show Haul

So I dragged Nikko to Canada’s Bridal Show which was held at the Toronto Convention Centre.  Tonight was the first night and the place was packed y’all!

We saw our wedding planner Ettie there, did a quick hi and bye and we were off!  We determined to get some good last minute deals.  And we were not disappointed!

Our main concern was transportation, but before that we scored on tuxes for the gents.  We got a $30 off coupon for all of the guys if we rent from Freemans.  And Nick gets his tux free!

I’m blogging in my wedding dress!  That’s right dawg… just me and Precious 2.0.  My shoes look amazing with it, and my jacket that my mom made… HOT DAMN!

The lining of the jacket matches wickedly and the whole ensemble looks freakin’ eh!

OK, now I have to take it off before Nick get’s home.

BUT, the good news is, it fits much better now then it did in the fall.  I lost some weight, but would love to lose a piece more.

Am I CRAZY!?!?

I’m not supposed to be spending money, but on my way in to work this afternoon (I have a half day), I saw these shoes…

Nine West “Jojus”

…in FUCHSIA!!!!!!!!

And yes, I did buy them… a size 9.5 and 10.  I was wearing my tights and a pair a boots, and I wanted to make sure I got the right pair so I had to buy both.

I wanna prance around in them when I get home and make sure I have the right size.  I flat out told the lady at Nine West just that, and yes, you will be seeing me tomorrow with a return!  And since the also have it in black, I decided to put three pairs on hold for the ladies.

The shoes aren’t even on the Nine West website, so I will have to wait until I get home to shoe you the pics, but they are soooo beautiful!
