My MOH, Bridesmaid and my mom threw me an awesome Bridal Shower this past Saturday. I was amazed at how smoothly the day was, there was no stress! I offered to decorate the place since I was hooked on those Martha Stewart pom poms, and I even splurged and bought the favour boxes as well.
Nick and I signed up for our registry kinda early, but we had incentive. We both attended Canada’s Bridal Show this past January and received two $25 gift cards if we signed up for an HBC and Home Outfitters registry… well that’s a no brainer, who doesn’t shop at the Bay? Plus they have amazing deals, like today! I went into the store just to grab a quick bite to eat (the food court at the Queen store has amazing West Indian food) only to find out that today was the first day of their “Semi-Annual Storewide Sale”. So after gobbling it down, I went up to the 5th floor to check if the Vera Wang Love Knots collection would be on sale. Well they weren’t, but I still decided to pick up the Cake and Trowel set (I had a $5 off coupon).
It is so beautiful and delicate; I can’t wait to use it. As stated in my previous post, we are having a cupcake tree, but I still want to have the whole cake cutting ceremony, so of course we needed a lovely set to showcase. I plan on getting it engraved with our initials or something… but no “Best Wishes” as seen in the pic below, seeing how I bought it myself.
I went crazy back in February with the scanner quickly zapping all of the items in the Love Knots collection. I would love to have the two Mint Julep Candles and frame to use at the Reception hint hint
