We went with “Overjoyed” by Stevie Wonder for everybody… My dad and I ultimately danced through the whole song, but Nick and his mom joined in at the second verse, and then the wedding party joined in during the last chorus.
After the first dance and quick intros, dinner started. We didn’t want everyone and their mother making speeches so we just designated a few key people to do the honors.
First up were the Best Man Aaron, and MOH Brandi.

We are planning a surprise party for my pops and it’s slated to go down this Saturday July 4th. I’ve been planning the party for over a month and a half and I’m so glad we are almost there. My only main concern is the music. There’s going to be a mix of old and young at the party… pretty much the same range of people who attended my wedding, but on a smaller scale. We’re expecting 40+ peeps to the house. Anyways, we are gonna play music that my dad likes (read: old people music) I’m just playin’ he always smiles when I say that.
Everything went so amazingly well, only drawback was the MC, my brother who put on the “Ben” show, but fun times were had by all.
Anywho, the highlight of the night was the Same Day Edit from StillMotion. Patrick… I love you! no seriously… you guys (Konrad and Michael included) did a wickedly amazing job! Can’t wait to see get the final product in my little hands!

We all had an amazing time! I’m so bushed from the whole ordeal. I’m still waiting for more pics to trickle in, but here are a few. And oh ya, I’m not that dark… honestly, I don’t have a problem with it, It’s just Nick’s crappy camera at work… Sorry Nick
