My dream wedding Barbie that is. Remember when I blogged about her last year?

It’s Vera Wang’s long sought after Romanticist Barbie! She was only $89.99 at My Favorite Doll down a whopping 41% I’m in heaven. I had to scoop her up. Aside from the ruffles, and banding, it kinda looks like my dress!
Can’t wait to receive her next week!
I haven’t purchased a single Barbie since I began planning the wedding, OK I lied, I got the My Melody Barbie from My Favourite Doll in the summer, but that doesn’t count cuz It was pre-ordered last year… but I digress. But look at her! She is stunning!
I just found out that Mattel is re-releasing some of my old favorites from the 80s. Although I loved all of the Rockers, I only had Barbie and Ken… no Derek and no Dee Dee. I was also heavy into Jem and the Holograms, even bought the DVD’s of the first 3 seasons… I can’t believe I still remembered all of the songs, seriously all of them! As some of you may know, I stopped collecting Barbie’s a couple of years ago, and had quite the collection… I’m still trying to get rid of some of them to this day. Any takers?

I got into Fashion Royalty dolls in recent years, but that addiction kinda died off, what with all the wedding planning and ish, I have no more funds to put towards my dollies. But I feel the Fashion Royalty dolls are far superior when compared to Barbie. They are posable with more points of articulation and the fashions are so detailed. They are the brainchild of Fashion Designer Jason Wu.
I’ve envisioned my wedding gown to look something like the gown pictured above. But I’m not really a poofy dress kinda gal. I currently in the process of putting together a mini wedding scene complete with bridesmaids and flower girls. But I have no camera to showcase the fruits of my labour. I’ll be sure to post pics when I return from BC.
