Gearing up for Canada’s Bridal Show next Friday.  I went to last years show… err I mean this past January’s show.  I can’t believe this Thursday is New Year’s Day!  I dragged Nick to the fall show, hoping to get some good deals, there weren’t as many vendors.  What a waste of money!

Anyways, We are sooo in the home stretch!  We picked out my wedding band this past Saturday, and I got the call today that the ring is ready!  And my search for a cupcake stand has concluded.  I’ve been doing Google searches for cupcake stands for the longest time, and looky what popped up!

I immediately sent them an e-mail to check on costs, and was later disappointed to learn that they were waaay over my budget.  I then asked if they rented them out and my contact Dennis said that a company by the name of Gervais Rentals rents them!  SCORE!

They are nearby in my home town Scarbs.  I called them up, got the deets, drove down and signed the contract!  The only thing is that they only have white and not silver as I had wanted.  But that’s OK :)

And just when I though it couldn’t get any better, my mom has just about finished my jacket.  It still needs to be hemmed, and some buttons, but it fits really well!  Even with my holiday weight!

The other piece of good news is that I signed Nick up to my gym and we worked out together today!  We’re going for our first consultation tomorrow.  I, like every other bride, am trying to loose a nice piece of weight before the nuptials.

Also finished (well partly) is number one of two flower girl dresses.  Imagine a bold fuchsia sash around the waist.

I got two sweaters from the Children’s Place before christmas.  They were only $11.99 each!  I also got some stockings in ivory.  Only thing left to get are the shoes.
